Hotel POST
The city of Obervellach is situated in the Valley of the Möll, surrounded by the breathtaking view of the snowy mountain peaks. The Mölltaler Glacier is the main attraction of the area, offering skiing possibilities all year long.
The Ankogel ski slopes are at a distance of 8 km. Ankogel is a place for families, having special beginners slopes for kids.
Hotel Post is in the old centre of Obervellach.
Today, the hotel is completely renovated and is hosting during winter mainly young visitors, school groups from Germany, England and the Netherlands. The free skibus to the Mölltaler Glacier stops near to the hotel.
During summer, the hotel offers its hospitality to biker groups in the historical wing. Obervellach is a great starting point for several daily trips with motorcycles: Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse, Malta Hochalpenstrasse, etc.
Hotel facilities
The hotel was fully redecorated and refurbished in 2012 and it offers its guests two dining rooms (1 in the winter garden), a comfortable lobby and a room with billiard. There is free access to wireless internet connection in the entire building.
Room description
The rooms are newly-furnished. There are rooms for puples with bunk beds for 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 persons. There is a bathroom with toilet, as well as TFT-LCD in every room.
The biker rooms are double rooms, with a comfortable bed, offering the perfect relaxation after a day of riding.
