The Köfelelifts are there for beginners in alpine winter sports. On gentle slopes but still at an altitude of almost 1,300 meters, directly at the mountain base of the Ankogel aerial tram way, the snow-safe “area for beginners” offers the ideal conditions to enter the high alpine skiing.
Right in the center of the skiing area lies the Köfelealm. The modern restaurant offers both children and parents, as well as adult novices of skiing both typical local and international cuisine delights. And after eating, it’s straight back to the slope experience from right in front of the restaurant. In close proximity to the restaurant are also the two ski schools of Mallnitz.
In summer, Köfele Alm is surrounded by pasture and hiking areas and invites to hiking experiences into the untouched Seebach valley.
